EnsoLab Tech AG & DPhi Space SA Announce SkyBridge Mission: Demonstrate Post-Quantum Security Validation Architecture in Orbit

SkyBridge is scheduled to launch no earlier than 30 March 2026 aboard SpaceX Transporter-16, carrying EnsoLab’s quantum-resilient security architecture into sun-synchronous orbit for live in-orbit validation.

Zurich, Switzerland — 26th March 2026 — EnsoLab Tech AG, the Swiss deep-tech innovation lab focused on advanced cryptographic security and resilient communications, and DPhi Space SA, the satellite integration and constellation software hosting services provider, today announced the SkyBridge mission, an in-orbit demonstration designed to validate an onboard post-quantum security validation architecture for next-generation secure space communications.

The SkyBridge payload is scheduled to fly as part of DPhi Space SA’s Clustergate-2 mission aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-16 rideshare mission on a Falcon 9 rocket launching from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The mission is expected to be injected into sun-synchronous orbit, where EnsoLab’s architecture will be validated in a live operational environment.

SkyBridge is designed to demonstrate a hardware-based security architecture that combines post-quantum cryptography, adaptive cryptographic resilience, and trusted hardware-based randomness for resilient communications in space. The mission will test whether quantum-resilient cryptographic operations can be executed reliably on commercial hardware under real operational conditions in orbit.

“Orbit is one of the most demanding environments a hardware system can face,” said Masood Shaikh Mohammed, Founder and CEO of EnsoLab Tech AG. “SkyBridge allows us to validate, in live conditions, that our security architecture can operate reliably in orbit and support the next generation of resilient communications.”
