From Research
to Orbital Evidence
Demonstrate crypto-agile post-quantum secure communications in a real orbital environment.
Execute multiple encryption, key-establishment and digital-signature combinations onboard through EnsoLab's crypto-agility framework.
Generate and protect data in orbit, return it to Earth, then decrypt and verify it against the original telemetry.
Translate validated orbital capability into deployable trust architectures for mission-critical terrestrial and space systems.
[ What SkyBridge Demonstrates ]
Post-Quantum Security Beyond the Laboratory
SkyBridge integrates post-quantum cryptography, crypto-agility and hardware-based entropy into a real orbital system, validating secure cryptographic operation beyond controlled laboratory conditions.
[ Orbital Validation Timeline ]
SkyBridge launched to low Earth orbit on SpaceX Falcon 9 as part of the Transporter-16 rideshare mission.
Payload systems were activated and communications established, enabling the onboard validation campaign.
Crypto-agile cryptographic workflows were executed onboard using multiple encryption, key-establishment and digital-signature combinations.
Protected data was generated and processed in orbit, returned to Earth, then successfully decrypted and verified using EnsoLab's crypto-agility framework.
[ Collaboration & Intellectual Property ]
Research, Integration and Intellectual Property
SkyBridge was developed through a research and engineering collaboration between EnsoLab Tech AG and the Adaptive Heterogeneous Systems Laboratory at HES-SO Valais-Wallis.
Payload integration and orbital mission support were provided by DPhi Space.
EnsoLab Tech AG owns and controls the EnsoLab security architecture and associated EnsoLab intellectual property developed for the programme, subject to the applicable collaboration agreements.
Adaptive Heterogeneous Systems Laboratory
HES-SO Valais-Wallis, Sion
Research and engineering collaboration supporting the development and validation of the SkyBridge mission.
DPhi Space
Hosted payload integration and orbital mission support through the Clustergate-2 platform.
EnsoLab Tech AG
Security architecture, cryptographic framework and EnsoLab intellectual property.
[ Research Lead ]
“SkyBridge brings heterogeneous computing and post-quantum security into a real orbital environment. The mission demonstrates how adaptable cryptographic architectures can support secure, resilient and high-performance communications for future space systems.”
[ Founder & CEO ]
“Trust cannot be proven only in the laboratory. With SkyBridge, we validated our crypto-agile security architecture under real orbital conditions, from onboard cryptographic execution to protected data recovery on Earth. That evidence is fundamental to how we engineer security for mission-critical systems.”
